We care for the environment by developing sustainable machines that save material and space 

Sustainable development is constantly on the agenda in our daily work. During the sales phase, we also review possible packaging material alternatives from an environmental perspective. Reducing plastic is often a primary focus. 

Package sizes are usually dictated by the market, but for example, automatic packaging of envelopes allows more goods to be packed into the same box than is possible manually with little effort. Our carton height optimizers for eCommerce and logistics, in turn, save space in transportation, thus enabling, for example, a larger number of shipments per transportation.

One kind of development originating from design is the replacement of pneumatic actuators with electric drives, currently usually servos. At the same time, faster and more precise movements are achieved, and thus production efficiency. 

Servo technology also enables automatic adjustments in connection with format changes, and almost all of our machines are able to process several different formats. Sometimes the product can even have a completely different shape, or the machine can serve several production lines simultaneously. In these cases, materials have also been saved in connection with manufacturing, when one unit has replaced the needs of several. 

We can extend the life cycle of the machine not only by maintaining high quality, but also by providing high-quality maintenance, support and training services. Regular maintenance is an essential part of machine maintenance. We also constantly carry out various types of modifications to older machines – we adapt new product formats, modify the machine to be more suitable for current production or simply replace a component with a new one if the old one has been discontinued.
